What Church Taught Me About Health

Every Sunday morning I make a habit of going to church.

It’s something that provides structure to the start or end of my week as well as giving me input into things.

This past Sunday I was sitting in the back row as this allows me to digest the information more without it getting washed away from too many people being around me or the bright lights, or anything like that.

We are talking about sowing and reaping.

You can really use this analogy with anything but it made complete sense to me regarding chiropractic.

Time and time again I will hear people saying that they aren’t seeing any sort of change happening.

They still have headaches, back pain, neck pain, digestion problems, vertigo, the list goes on and on.

Well when a farmer plants his crops does he any sort of change quickly? The answer is obviously no!

When you go to the gym for one week are you going to suddenly lose a bunch of weight and look strong? Absolutely not!

In both examples time and work in involved.

You can’t do something for a little bit and expect giant results….I wish that was the case but unfortunately it isn’t.

The same goes for what we do at The Specific Chiropractic Centers. People are always expecting to have their complaints go away immediately. The problem is that these complaints didn’t just happen overnight. So it only makes sense that it is going to take a decent amount of time for these problems to become resolved.

There are a lot of people who give us a call and say that they know what the problem is and they just need us to crack their back. Our goal at the office is to provide actual resolution to people’s problems, not just a quick fix like some people ask for. Just like the original message I heard in church or sowing and reaping, everything takes time and health is one of those things.
